因为一直没有找到自己真正喜欢的工作，李俊庆本科毕业后换了数份工作，最长的一份做了一年多，是在吉林老家的某教育机构当助教。
2017年，他决定成为一名美团外卖骑手，也成为该群体中为数不多的“高学历”从业者。
在多数人的认知中，外卖骑手这份工作不需要多少技能，靠“拼体力”足矣，但在不久前，美团点评研究院发布的《2018年外卖骑手群体研究报告》显示：美团骑手群体里，大学生比例为16%，这其中有13%是大专学历，3%为本科以上学历。
像李俊庆这种接受了16年教育的人，择业时可以有更多的选择。他也深知这点，然而在2017年，他的生活处境让“外卖骑手”成为当时的“最佳选择”。
“为了还债务”
2012年，李俊庆从东北电力大学毕业。与“一毕业就失业”的多数大学生不同，刚毕业的他就收到一份为期三年的劳动合同——在长春某检测中心任车间环境鉴定。明眼人都能看出来，这个职位需要相关的知识储备，也与他四年的专业相关。
但自他上大学以来，一直对自己学习的电热能专业不感兴趣。而且，这份工作转正后的月薪仅有3000元。
当时，他对这份劳动合同有一定的“偏见”：无聊、一眼看得到人生的尽头，也不能有恰当的物质回报……选择放弃顺理成章。
其实，拒绝了这份offer后，李俊庆也没想好接下来该做什么。他先后尝试过保险销售、刷单、酒托。兜兜转转，在父亲的介绍下，最终加入了当地的一家教育机构，做起了辅导班助教。这份工作持续了一年多，月薪在2600到2800元之间。
后来，李俊庆染上了赌球的恶习，让他在2015年的赛季里，花光了所有的积蓄，还欠了10万元外债。幸运的是，家里帮他还清了这笔债务，但他觉得亏欠家人太多，”想赶紧找一份赚钱的工作，把亏的钱都赚回来。”就这样，在2016年里，他一连在几个月内换了几份工作，也未能如愿。
人生的意外总是接二连三。2016年，李俊庆的父亲视网膜脱落；年末，奶奶生病。因为资金匮乏，拖了很久，家人才去医院，这一拖，病情反而变得更严重。在2016年迈进2017年的元旦夜，他和家里人在医院里一起度过。
连续两个家人病倒，让李俊庆的家庭经济状况雪上加霜。为了尽快还清债务，他选择当一名美团骑手。
李俊庆深知，这是一个遵循“多劳多得”原则的职业。每一分收入都是“可视化”的——多送一单就多赚一份“跑腿费”，外卖骑手这个行当既不像其他职业，需要成年累月的沉淀，也不必像刚入行的新人那样，必须熬过两三年的低薪，才能等来加薪的量变。
对于急需还债的李俊庆来说，这是他2017年最好的选择。
十个月过去，在北京做外卖骑手的他，最终还清了欠下的4万元债务。他细算：如果努力做到每个月工资在8000到9000元，只需将花销控制在3000元/月以内，每个月能结余5000到6000元。此前，他做过的任何一份工作，月薪都在3000元左右，假如不吃不喝也需要13.3个月才能攒齐4万元。
“羞于提阶层”
与李俊庆相似，王临凯同样因为欠债入行。仅仅四个月，他还完了由于不理性消费而欠下的近2万元债务。
王临凯于2017年毕业于湖南农业大学，一毕业就当了外卖骑手。为了尽快还清债务，最开始那段时间，他每天工作16个小时，“除了吃饭和睡觉，其余时间都在送单”。他清楚地记得，最晚的一单，凌晨4点才结束。
刚成为外卖小哥时，王临凯接受不了自己所处的阶层。他从一个本科一批就读、生活成本由父母支持、最新款的手机和电脑说买就买、生活光鲜的大学生，“降级”为外卖小哥。“做骑手不像白领那么光鲜，这让我产生了心理落差。”王临凯说。
但第一个月工资到账后让他释怀。这一个月，在长沙当骑手的他领到将近8000元的薪水。根据智联招聘今年7月份公布的《2018年夏季中国雇主需求与白领人才供给报告》，长沙地区的平均薪酬为7131元。应届毕业生王临凯，第一个月收入就超过了这个数字。
从收入上看，外卖骑手无疑是个好选择。《2018年外卖骑手群体研究报告》显示，有56%的自营骑手工资在6000至8000元之间，有33%在4000至6000元之间，有8%在8000至10000元之间。
在收入面前，这份工作不论出身，只要你能够付出足够的时间和体力，一定会有对得住自己的回报。
陈志也是考虑到提升收入才选择做骑手的。
2010年，他从武汉军事经济学院毕业，为了备考公务员，毕业后一直做一些“送快递”、“开滴滴”这样的兼职工作，但遗憾的是，四、五年后，他还是没能考上。
他想留在老家——武汉市蔡甸区生活，这是武汉的远城区，也是当地GDP排名最后的区域。蔡甸当地的工作机会少，薪酬低，留在这里的年轻人大部分流向了体制内。陈志的那些没做公务员、而成为办公室文员的同学，现在大部分都领着每个月3000元的工资。
而陈志现在的月均工资在7000多元，“这比其他坐办公室的不是强多了？”他说。
“一定会离开”
尽管以上三位高学历外卖小哥都承认：靠劳动力吃饭不丢人，但李俊庆和王临凯却另有打算：外卖骑手只是他们暂时的状态。
李俊庆就从不主动对朋友介绍自己的职业。
一次，李俊庆的好友回国，问他在北京做什么，他没有立刻作答，而是用“见面再说”搪塞过去。见面后，李俊庆告诉好友真相。正计划去清华大学学习的朋友不理解李俊庆为什么会这样选择，当然，李俊庆也没有明确告诉他欠债这件事。
朋友认为，骑手是一份“没什么技术含量、学习不到、对自己成长不利”的职业。李俊庆则用“我在积累，在赚钱，来北京见识见识，包括学习外卖、餐饮这个行业。”这个借口来回应。
当参加同学聚会，被问及职业身份时，他都会用“做餐饮行业”来搪塞。
在王临凯眼中，除了有社会阶层的落差感外，外卖行业的不确定性也是他一定会离开的理由。
他觉得，送外卖这个活会被无人机代替，“因为这个行业体力占比太大，只能吃青春饭。”
让他更为担心的是长期从事这份工作，人会变得机械。外卖骑手想要赚更多的钱，要花更多的时间投入其中。但白领不一样，白领花更多时间还可以获取从业经验，而外卖骑手唯一的回报就是金钱。
王临凯做了十个月骑手后，发现自己无暇关心新鲜事物以及社会动态，这让他感到恐慌，也不是他想要的生活。他越来越明确：外卖骑手是一份暂时性的工作。
尾声
现在，李俊庆已经不做外卖骑手，选择回到长春，在一所游学服务公司工作。他觉得毕业这几年，没有学到什么，接下来需要继续学习和积累一些专业技能。
王临凯也离开了。他目前在一家房地产公司工作，工资比当骑手时还低。
陈志认为，外卖骑手是一份多劳多得的工作，他还会继续下去。
每份工作都有它的难处和特殊之处。王临凯在当外卖骑手这段经历中，总结出一些心得，他觉得，“每份工作都是我们的选择，与其抱怨现状，不如改变自己，我才是一切结果的来源，每天不是都有新的问题吗？”。
现在，他的新烦恼是业绩不太好，他决定坚持，“你越是坚持，越有可能做到别人做不到的。”他说道。
